Welcome zephyrs and belated end-of-week notes pt. III
Like all good things, this continues in the middle... Saturday morning I endured an Abbott and Costello routine with Chazzie in which I thought he was trying to wake me up cuz I was late to work and I kept telling him that a) I didn't have a job and b) I didn't have the time... as it turns, I was penciled in on the house schedule to deliver him to his job on Saturday morning, only nobody passed me the memo. So we got him there with a minute to spare, got me some coffee at the Starbucks (where I am now completely sure is not the delicious caffeine that works me over, but the shock of their price tags that really jolts the Devil in me), did a little paperwork at home and shot on down to my banks to make deposits and generally stand in line. That afternoon found me over at Patti's place and I was introduced to her wonderful bestiary -- birds, a dog, and a cat. The cat, strangely enough, did not try to claw out my eyes, which is something innate in all felines that come into contact with me and the dog, the most beautiful and docile Akita I have ever met, immediately knew I was a good guy, and let me know by slobbering my arms, demanding a walk, and pawing me with merciless affection. Pets and babies is what they'll tell you am good at and almost symbiotic with. In any case, I enjoyed some delicious coffee there that jolted me without denting my wallet and before I continue, I'll say this much: like all good things, this ends with an ending and before we combust on the final word, I will try to discuss at length my thoughts, opinions, and emotions regarding the finest hardcore/sludge two-piece to emerge from the land, Black motherfucking Cobra. And in the way of a for instance, I will regale you with the tale of the ungrateful ninja and how he vanished into the night without a kiss.
