Teen angst, balding men, cowboy boots vs. Chuck Taylors

Boy did I get a treat last night! After some barbecue fun with a lady friend and her childhood pals I took it northbound to Alligator Alley (the venue, not the road) to catch a fantastic romp of a set by the phenomenal Drug Czars, a mini-set by the always incredible The Eat and a South Florida rock and roll reunion of sorts hosted and instigated by the godly Charlie "Chaz" Pickett.


The joint's kinda tight but it is also kinda really good for the intimacy thing you folks are always looking for. Good place to catch some real music live. Heads up, next Saturday, March 22nd they'll have one of Jaco Pastorius' sons performing. Should be some hot shit. But even more awesome than any of the aforementioned, was the really cool bartender Susie, who made appropriate suggestions and was quick with a smile. Classy lady. She made the night good.
